Privacy Policy
Updated June 2026How PaidPilot handles your data and your clients' data when you use our payment recovery service.
What we collect
- Account data: email and authentication identifiers (via Clerk) when you sign up.
- Business data: clients, invoices, reminder settings, and payment status you enter in the app.
- Payment data: subscription billing via Stripe; invoice payments via Stripe Connect (we do not store full card numbers).
- Technical data: logs and usage needed to operate and secure the service (e.g. Vercel hosting).
How we use it
- Provide invoice sending, payment reminders, and Pay Now links.
- Process your subscription and connected-account payments.
- Send transactional email to you and to your clients on your behalf.
- Improve reliability, security, and support.
Sharing
We use processors such as Clerk (auth), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Vercel (hosting). We do not sell your personal data. Your clients receive emails only when you send invoices or when automated reminders run for unpaid invoices.
Retention & rights
We keep data while your account is active and as needed for legal or billing obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. Clients can stop automated reminders via the unsubscribe link in reminder emails.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top of this page will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
