Updated June 2026The rules for using PaidPilot. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
Service
PaidPilot helps freelancers send invoices and automated payment reminders. We are not a law firm, accountant, or payment institution. You are responsible for the accuracy of invoices and compliance with tax and commercial laws in your jurisdiction.
Your account
- You must provide accurate registration information.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must have permission to email your clients and to use their data in the app.
Subscription & billing
Paid plans are billed via Stripe. Trials and cancellations follow the terms shown at checkout and in your Stripe customer portal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Client emails & reminders
When you send an invoice or enable reminders, we email your clients on your behalf. Clients may unsubscribe from automated payment reminders. You remain responsible for the underlying debt and any disputes with your clients.
Acceptable use
Do not use PaidPilot for spam, harassment, illegal activity, or fraudulent invoices. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that clients will pay on time. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, except where prohibited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
